WHAT ARE THE COUNTY’S TOP HEALTH CONCERNS

Wentworth, NC –
The Rockingham County Division of Public Health, Rockingham County Healthy Carolinians Partnership, United Way of Rockingham County, Annie Penn Hospital, UNC Rockingham Health Care, and many other community partners worked collaboratively over the last year and a half to gather primary and secondary data used to identify the top three health concerns in Rockingham County.
The overall health of the community is affected by many variables: the economic status, the level of educational attainment, and the availability of resources within a community all play a part in how healthy a community can be.
Come join us at the COMMUNITY HEALTH ASSESSMENT PRIORITY MEETING.
If you would like a voice in what the top health concerns in Rockingham County should be; then we encourage you to attend. The meeting will feature a presentation on health statistics which will allow participants to make an informed decision on what the top health concerns should be.
The meeting will be held Wednesday, April 24, 2019 from 9am-11am at Eden City Hall’s Eden Room. Attendance will be limited, so please RSVP by April 18, 2019 to the contacts listed below.
